Extravaganza DRAWING

The Quilt Extravaganza Exhibition is a fund-raising effort by the Westport Historical Society to support our Educational Programs. We are grateful for several sponsors who have made donations to assist with our fundraising effort, enabling us to offer a Drawing.

The Westport Historical Society relies upon the support of our local friends to fund our many educational activities and efforts in Kansas City on behalf of Westport. Your participation in our DRAWING will help because Westport Historical Society is responsible for the 1855 Harris-Kearney House, a museum dedicated to Westport’s historical artifacts, research and literature. Funds from your contribution(s) to win our DRAWING also makes it possible to mark the historic buildings and sites within Westport, and to make research efforts possible!

The Westport Historical Society is a 501c3 non-profit society, your raffle donations are fully deductible for income tax purposes.

HOW TO ENTER AND WIN: To enter the Drawing, either visit the quilt exhibit at the Harris-Kearney Museum to fill out an entry form or complete the on-line entry below. The winners of each of the five Drawings will be selected in a random drawing at the end of Tammy's Talk on October 27th from among all eligible entries received no later than 5:00 p.m., October 26th. The winner will be notified in person, by email, and announced on our Facebook social media page. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late or illegible entries. All entries become the property of Sponsor, and will not be returned. 

 Drawing Items Include:

1. Janome 3160QOV Quilting Sewing Machine. Value $650.

   • Donated by the Missouri Sewing Machine Company.​

2. Nespresso Vertuoline Aeroccino Plus Latte Machine. Value $350.

   • Donated by Pryde's of Old Westport

3. One night get-a-way "Night on the Town." Package value $300. 

   • One night stay, including breakfast, at the Raphael Hotel on the Plaza.

     • Donated by the Raphael Hotel

   • Gift Certificate for two at Ragazza. Value $50.

     • Donated by Ragazza Italian Restaruant​

4. Gift Basket filled with wine and wine glasses, coffee and mugs, candy, candles, books and a KC Chief's banner. Value $200.

Rules of the Drawing:

​

1. Purchase any number of Chances to Win any of the items listed above.

2. Each Chance to Win will be assigned a ticket number.

3. There will be 5 Drawings (all from the same basket of tickets) to win one of the five items above.

4. Winning items will be awarded in the numeric order of the list above. Each person can only win once.

5. You do not have to be present to win. If not present, winners will be notified by email.

6. Each on-line payment for an opportunity to win a drawing will receive an auto-generated reply receipt. In addition, an email with the registration will be sent confirming the assignment of your ticket number(s) added to the drawing.

7. The Drawing will occur at the end of Tammy's Talk on October 27th,12:30-2:30pm, at Kelly's Westport Inn, 500 Westport Rd, Kansas City, Missouri. To attend Tammy's Talk event a ticket is required and must be purchased in advance.

8. Items must be picked up at the museum on Friday or Saturday afternoon between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm from the Westport Historical Society office located in the 1855 Harris-Kearney Historical House Museum, 4000 Baltimore, Kansas City, MO 64111.
